Okay. Confession time. I've tried everything I could.
I haven't had a lot of time to draw lately. Changed jobs. Probably going back to school soon. Less time.
So.
What i originally wanted to do while I had those few hours was record myself coloring my last drawing - "Uplifting". You know, the H+Ell one?
Yeah. It didn't work.
I've tried to edit it, and am still working out the kinks to the best of my ability to kick off my YouTube channel (yes, I really do have one).
I'm going to try something out tonight. Keep on the lookout for it on my Tumblr: solartheshapeshifter
If it works or if it doesn't, there will still be more drawings soon.
And perhaps a video that actually plays the way I want it to (and which wasn't accidentally filmed upside down like the idiot I am). X~X
Trying to stay positive and get my journey started, despite the logs in my way.

I planned to make this journal entry earlier, but I feel that now is as good a time as ever to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
When I first started this Deviantart account, I never dreamed I would get to where I am right now. I was just a little kid with a dream of sharing what I drew with others on a website that inspired me. I never thought that so many people would actually take interest in what I had been taught was just a useless hobby or something temporary that a lot of people drop after high school.
I can't tell you all how much it means to me to see that everything I had been taught and told over the course of my creative life was wrong.

Hi guys! I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately. I've got some new ones saved up for the next coupe of days, and I can't wait to share them with you!
I haven't been as motivated this year to improve as an artist, and it brings me a great sense of shame. I want to make a career out of my art by the end of this year - even a secondary one. I've made it a long-term goal to improve so I can start commissions for those who like my art, among other things. Luckily for me, I have all the help I need.
With all this in mind, i hope to be posting at least three times a week, every week, as a small goal to kick off the year. As I go,

Hey there! Hahaha, still breathing!
I apologize for the recent lack of activity and uploads. Unfortunately, I haven't had the best time trying to keep up with my art. I recently went on a vacation down south to the beautiful town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I just got back two days ago or so (my brain can't really keep track of time since). While I was down in the mountains, I was running around and having a good time, but when I had down time I couldn't bring myself to draw.
I broke my promise to myself to draw every day, but I got a lot of good, fresh ideas when I was down south.
I took a break and tried to clear my head about some persona
